다고 생각하다 – Một ngữ pháp tiếng Hàn khá là thông dụng dù trong văn nói tiếng Hàn thường ngày hay là trong thi Topik đặc biệt là 쓰기 Topik cũng bắt gặp phổ biến. 다고 생각하다 (nghĩ rằng, cho rằng).
Ngữ pháp 는/ㄴ다고 생각하다
는/ㄴ다고 생각하다 – Kết hợp với động từ tính từ hoặc sau một mệnh đề nào đó thể hiện rằng mình nghĩ như vậy, cho rằng như vậy.
Ví dụ về 다고 생각하다:
1) 힘이 약한 사람이 호랑이 가면을 쓰게 되면 호랑이처럼 힘이 세다고 생각한다 (Topik 35회)
Mọi người nghĩ rằng nếu người có sức khỏe yếu ớt được đeo mặt nạ hổ thì sẽ mạnh mẽ giống như hổ.
2) 아까 그림보다 이번 그림을 더 잘 그렸다고 생각했다 (Topik 34회)
Tôi nghĩ là bức tranh lần này tôi vẽ đẹp hơn bức tranh lần trước
3) 보통 사람들은 사진을 찍으면 풍경이나 물건을 잘 기억할 수 있다고 생각한다. 하지만 사실 사진을 찍는 것보다는 자세히 살펴보는 것이 머릿속에 더 오래 남는다. 왜냐하면 관찰할 때 집중력이 더 높아지기 때문이다. (Topik 33회) (자세히: một cách chi tiết; 머릿속: trong đầu;남다: bớt lại, để lại; 살펴보다: quan sát, ngắm ngó; 관찰하다: quan sát)
Mọi người thường nghĩ rằng chụp ghi lại phong cảnh hay đồ vật thì sẽ có kí ức nhớ lâu hơn về thứ đó. Nhưng mà thực tế hơn cả việc chụp lại ảnh thì khi mà quan sát một cách chi tiết thì ghi nhớ để lại trong đầu lại lâu hơn. Tại vì sao chính là vì khi quan sát thì sự tập trung sẻ trở nên cao hơn.
4) 대부분의 사람들은 대화를 이어나가는 데 있어 감정보다는 이성이 중요한 역할을 한다고 생각한다 (Topik 17)

“-라고 생각하다” Together with -다고, -라고 is one of the two major forms used for indirect quoting of speech. In addition, -라고 has other related functions. -라고: 1. indirect quoting of speech for 이다(is) and 아니다(is not). 개는 동물이라고 말하다. 나무는 동물이 아니라고 하다. 2. expresses an imperative sense (for any verb), like telling someone to do something. 일을 하라고 시키다. 3. direct quoting of speech, usually with quote marks. “틀렸어”라고 말하다. -다고 is used for indirect quoting involving verbs other than 이다 or 아니다. 이다 is the special “linking” verb (technically a particle), like “is” in “XX is YY” where YY is another noun or pronoun. 아니다 is the negation of 이다, “is not”. When used for indirect quoting, -라고 is used only with these two verbs. For other general verbs, we use -다고 attaching it to verb stems. Examples: – 나는 내가 학생이라고 말했다 = 나는 “나는 학생이에요”라고 말했다. (높다) Your example’s verb is 된다, so you must use -다고 to form a clause with it. – 저는 (제) 발음을 연습해야 돼요. I must practice my pronunciation. – 저는 (제) 발음을 연습해야 된다고 생각해요. I think I must practice my pronunciation. * Direct quoting, 저는 “(제) 발음을 연습해야 된다”라고 생각해요, is possible but not as natural. * In Korean, 제 (my) is usually not necessary in this case. * 돼요 is a contraction of 되어요 (되다+어+요 -> 되어요 -> 돼요). 된다고 is 되다 + -ㄴ다, with no -어 in it, so in remains as 되.
