2015 개정 국어과 교육과정 듣기·말하기 영역의 문제점과 개선 방안
이 연구는 국어과 교육과정에 ‘초등 국어 교육’의 정체성이 충분히 반영되지 못하였다는 문제의식에 터하여 2015개정 국어과 교육과정의 듣기·말하기 영역의내용을 비판적으로 검토하는 데 목적이 있다. 특히, 대인 관계적 의사소통의 측면에서 초점을 두고 2015 개정 국어과 교육과정의 듣기·말하기 영역의 내용을 다음의 세 가지 관점에서 분석하였다. 첫째, 초등학교 듣기·말하기 교육의 지향점은무엇인가? 둘째, 교육과정 상에 대인 관계적 의사소통의 특성을 반영한 듣기·말하기 교육의 기본 원리와 내용은 어떻게 구체화되고 있는가? 셋째, 초등학교 듣기·말하기 교수·학습의 특성을 반영하고 실천을 유도하는 교육과정인가? 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2015 국어과 교육과정의 듣기·말하기 영역 성취기준의 진술은 전통적으로 강조되어 온 화법의 담화 유형별 목적에근거한 ‘지식, 기능, 태도’에 초점을 두고 있어, 초등 교육에서 강조되어야 할 정서와 가치적 측면을 충분히 드러내지 못하고 있었다. 둘째, 대인 관계적 의사소통과관련된 성취기준과 이를 구현한 교과서의 내용을 관련지어 살펴본 결과, ‘의사소통역량, 공동체·대인 관계 역량’을 함양한다는 교육과정상의 원래 의도와는 달리발표 형식의 공식적 상황에서의 말하기 수행 활동으로 구성될 가능성이 높았다. 셋째, 초등학교 듣기·말하기 교육은 초등 학습자의 실제적인 대인 관계적 의사소통 경험에 기반하고, 이를 적극 활용해야 함에도 불구하고 현재 국어과 교육과정에 서 학습자의 ‘가정’ 혹은 ‘학교 밖’ 국어사용 경험에 대한 반영은 미약하였다.
This study reviewed the ‘speaking·listening’ domain of 2015 Korean language department curriculum focusing on the side of the identity of the Primary Korean Education. In terms of Interpersonal Communication, The following are three of the perspective analysis of the ‘speaking·listening’ domain of 2015 Korean language department curriculum. First of all, what is the final purpose of teaching speaking and listening·elementary school? Secondly, How are the basic principles and contents, reflects Characteristics of Interpersonal Communication on ‘speaking·listening’ domain of 2015 Korean language department curriculum, materialized? Third, is this the curriculum that reflects the characteristics of the teaching of interpersonal communication and leads student to perform. Results of the analysis are as follows. First, The curriculum does not present the primary language education’s fairs and value aspects. Secondly, contrary to the intent of the curriculum, knowing discourse type as a language norms is likely to be more than a learning experience to understand and choose the point of view, which reflects interpersonal communication’s properties. Third, there is no mention about the importance of language experience from Learner’s ‘home’ or ‘out of school’ on the ‘speaking·listening’ domain of 2015 Korean language department curriculum.
